Chiellini announces departure from Juventus

Juventus defense magnate of the Italian international, Giorgio Cellini, confirmed his departure from his club at the end of this season, after his team lost the final of the Coppa Italia to Inter 2-4 after the extension on Wednesday.

The leader of the "Old Lady" said in statements to Mediacite that he will play his team's last two games in the local league before bidding farewell to the club's fans.

He added

“We had great years at Juventus and it was time for young faces to carry the torch. I did my best and I hope I made a mark.”

"Next Monday I will bid farewell to Allianz Stadium (Juventus's) in the match against Lazio, it's my 100 percent decision," the 19-time winner said.

Chiellini, 37, did not want to confirm whether he would retire permanently after leaving Juventus by saying: "Honestly, I don't know, I have to think about it with my family. I’m happy to leave Juventus and I’m at the top of my level.”

وأوضح قائد "السيدة العجوز"، في تصريحات لشبكة "ميدياسيت"، أنه سيخوض المباراتين الأخيرتين لفريقه في الدوري المحلي قبل توديع جماهير النادي

وأضاف: "أمضينا في صفوف يوفنتوس سنوات رائعة وقد حان الوقت للوجوه الشابة لحمل المشعل. بذلت قصارى جهدي وآمل أن أكون تركت أثرا".

وكشف اللاعب المتوج بـ19 لقبا "الاثنين المقبل سأقوم بتوديع ملعب أليانز (الخاص بيوفنتوس) في المباراة ضد لاتسيو، إنه قراري بنسبة مئة في المئة".

ولم يشأ كيليني البالغ 37 عاما التأكيد ما إذا كان سيعتزل نهائيا بعد الرحيل عن يوفنتوس بقوله "صراحة لا أدري، يتعين علي التفكير بالأمر مع عائلتي. أنا سعيد للرحيل عن يوفنتوس وأنا في قمة مستواي".
